The North Platte City Cemetery, located at 800 Rodeo Road, was established at a meetings held on December 13, 1872 and June 13, 1873. At that time the North Platte Cemetery Association was organized, and five acres of land were purchased. In 1884, the Association bought an additional ten acres of land from Mrs. William F. Cody, wife of Buffalo Bill. The current cemetery consists of 30 acres, with an additional 15 acres that are undeveloped.

Archibald Adamson - author

Dr. Frederick Dick - Confederate soldier, doctor

Major A.M. Dill - First Union Pacific Pensioner

John A. Foster - served in the British and US Army, musician.

Victor H. Halligan - attorney, Nebraska Cornhusker football star.

Washington Hinman - farmer, early county government leader

J.F.E. Kramph - Civil War soldier, businessman

Annie Kramph - civic leader

Morrel Case Keith - cattle rancher

Dr. Voorhees Lucas - early doctor in North Platte

Dr. Fyfield H. Longley - physician and surgeon

William R. Maloney - businessman

Charles McDonald - rancher, early county government leader

Edward Morin - Early pioneer

Keith Neville - attorney, Governor of Nebraska

Thomas C. Patterson - businessman

Josiah B. Park - Civil War soldier, newspaper publisher

William S. Penniston - early settler in Lincoln County

Anthony Ries - first Mayor of North Platte, county government leader

Robert E. Rowland - early settler in Lincoln County

Leicester Walker - Civil War soldier, rancher
